Wuling Hongguang V is a "professional commercial tool vehicle" launched by SAIC-GM-Wuling based on user car needs. It was officially launched on January 9, 2015. On March 6, 2019, the new Wuling Hongguang V model was officially launched.

With the improvement of living standards, more and more consumers have put forward higher requirements for the safety and comfort of Weikers. SAIC-GM-Wuling, a new micro-passenger product, Wuling Hongguang V, is frequently reported as the first "front-rear-wheel drive" new micro-passenger model.

As the star model of the Wuling brand, the Wuling Hongguang series has sold well all over the world since its launch in 2010, and is known as "China's domestic model that can be called a god car", winning the trust of 4.56 million car owners. On September 1, 2019, the new model of Wuling Hongguang V 1.5L Jintake Edition was officially launched, with a total of 5 configuration models.

The new model was launched on March 6, 2019. Wuling Hongguang V has launched a total of 3 models, including 1.5L 6MT manual transmission basic, 1.5L 6MT manual transmission basic window sealing car and 1.5L 6MT manual transmission standard type.

Space

The vehicle size of Wuling Hongguang V is 4425/1670/1860mm, the wheelbase has reached 2850mm, the total mass has increased by 25kg, and the load-bearing performance has been improved. The width of the side door opening reaches 700mm, the overall shape of the new tailgate is regular, and the tailgate opening height is increased to 1840mm, and the door threshold height is reduced to 480mm, which is convenient for handling larger goods, and the new car also has a 4300L (when the middle and rear seats are removed) flat bed cargo space.

Wuling Hongguang V is designed with 19 storage spaces such as dashboards, sub-instruments, and door panels.

In terms of appearance

The front grille of the new car adopts a Wuling family-style design, the front face design is more sleek, and the headlight cluster adopts an irregular shape, making the visual effect sharper. In addition, depending on the configuration, the new car is also equipped with fog lights.

The chassis design of Wuling Hongguang V passenger makes the safety performance ahead, and it also uses a number of automotive safety technologies in the micro passenger model for the first time, it adopts the TUD (TOTAL-USED DESIGN) design concept, and the proportion of high-strength steel for the main energy-absorbing structural parts is as high as 83%, so that the overall safety factor of the body is greatly increased. In addition, Hongguang V is also equipped with more than 20 intimate safety configurations, such as Osram's headlights, a slide rail lock system to prevent the fuel gun from being hit by the side sliding door, an automatic driving lock function, and a three-point seat belt for all employees.

The front suspension of the Wuling Hongguang V adopts MacPherson independent suspension, and the rear suspension is leaf spring non-independent suspension.
