Overseas Exports: "India, Malaysia, and Thailand" Integrated Strategy Deepens ASEAN Market Development
Overseas Business Department staff provided the delegation with a detailed overview of the company's overseas presence, focusing on its integrated development strategy, export model, and core products for the ASEAN market. This will help overseas markets gain a deeper understanding of SAIC-GM-Wuling's strengths and product highlights through the help of local mainstream media.
Currently, SAIC-GM-Wuling has achieved extensive coverage in the ASEAN market, leveraging its integrated "Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand" strategy. Over 200 authorized Wuling dealerships have been established in nine countries, including Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam, providing high-quality travel services to 160,000 ASEAN customers.
Intelligent Manufacturing: The World's First Intelligent Island Factory Leads a New Trend in Industry Transformation
Zheng Wenqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Intelligent Manufacturing Department, led a media delegation on a tour of the world's first intelligent island factory. Focusing on the factory's "nerve center"—the AI Operations Center—he provided an in-depth analysis of the innovations brought about by intelligent technology in automotive manufacturing.
In the AI Operations Center, the actual sales dashboard tracks domestic and international order fulfillment rates in real time and dynamically calibrates forecasting models; the delivery dashboard monitors the entire vehicle delivery process, ensuring on-time shipment of key models; the operating dashboard dynamically updates core data such as output value and revenue; and the quality dashboard enables full-cycle quality traceability from product to goods. Furthermore, the intelligent decision-making engine (EOAI), leveraging distributed computing power, converts sales orders into multi-dimensional production demand models, providing precise support for production decisions. Vietnamese media reporters couldn't help but exclaim, "The factory's manufacturing process is extremely modern, intelligent, and well-organized." During the product experience session, the media group witnessed a demonstration of the Xingjing intelligent assisted driving system and test-drove models such as the Yueye PLUS, Xingguang S, and Bingo S, gaining a firsthand understanding of SAIC-GM-Wuling's extensive electrified product portfolio and R&D capabilities. Internet influencer Bo Mi exclaimed, "Wuling is not just a Liuzhou car, nor is it just a Chinese car. Wuling should go global." Another influencer, Sophie, shared her test drive experience: "I'm a long-time Wuling owner, having driven a fuel-powered Wuling for eight years. I just test-drove the Bingo S, a new energy vehicle, and it was incredibly comfortable. It's also designed specifically for female drivers, with a dedicated bag storage area, which I particularly like. The price is also reasonable, and I'd definitely consider buying one. Its design and color are both stunning, and as a female driver, I'm simply captivated by it."
