On September 6th, SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd. and Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony in Liuzhou to deepen their Baojun "Three Intelligences" collaboration, comprehensively upgrading their strategic partnership. The two parties will deepen cooperation in three areas: assisted driving, intelligent cockpits, and intelligent manufacturing, jointly promoting the high-quality development of the intelligent and connected automotive industry. At the ceremony, the first model from this collaboration, the Baojun Huajing S, was unveiled. Chen Gang, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Autonomous Region People's Congress, and Wei Tao, Chairman of the Autonomous Region, attended and witnessed the signing.

The technological achievements jointly developed by the two parties will be first applied to Baojun Automobile's new flagship large six-seater SUV, the Baojun Huajing S. The new car will be standard equipped with Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving (HUAWEI ADS 4), HarmonyOS Cockpit (HarmonySpace 5), and Qiankun Car Cloud (HUAWEI IVCS). It will also be the first to be equipped with Huawei's in-cabin laser vision (Limera), demonstrating a comprehensive evolution of intelligent technology to continuously enhance the user travel experience. In terms of safety, the Baojun Huajing S adheres to the five key safety principles of "intelligent safety, structural safety, battery safety, material safety, and all-time safety." It features the all-round collision avoidance system CAS 4.0, a design exceeding the C-NCAP 2024 five-star safety standard, Shenlian batteries that have cumulatively protected the battery safety of 3 million users, and a variety of environmentally friendly materials and craftsmanship throughout the vehicle, providing users with a comprehensive five-star safety system.

In addition, the two parties will collaborate on the "three intelligences" areas: assisted driving, intelligent cockpit, and intelligent manufacturing. Huawei's intelligent solutions will be deeply integrated with SAIC-GM-Wuling's four flagship technologies: Lingmou assisted driving, Lingyu cockpit, Lingxi power, and Shenlian batteries, jointly enhancing the core competitiveness of the products. Furthermore, with SAIC-GM-Wuling's Intelligent Island Manufacturing System (I²MS) at its core, Huawei's highly reliable production network, AI, and big data technologies will be integrated to advance the upgrade of the intelligent manufacturing system. SAIC-GM-Wuling is the first Chinese automaker to achieve cumulative production and sales of 30 million vehicles, boasting significant advantages in user scale, scenario-based technologies, and intelligent manufacturing. Leveraging its four key technologies: Lingmou assisted driving, Lingyu cockpit, Lingxi Power, and Shenlian Battery, SAIC-GM-Wuling has successfully developed cutting-edge technologies such as the Intelligent Island Manufacturing System (I²MS), 12-in-1 integrated electric drive system, and Shenlian semi-solid-state batteries, achieving industry-leading status.

As a leading global provider of ICT (information and communications) infrastructure and smart devices, Huawei has built a full-stack of technical capabilities for intelligent connected vehicles, effectively driving the intelligent transformation of the automotive industry. Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving, Hongmeng Cockpit, and Qiankun Car Cloud have earned widespread consumer recognition. Huawei Qiankun Intelligent Driving has been installed in over one million vehicles, demonstrating significant market validation.

SAIC-GM-Wuling and Huawei have collaborated since 2018, sharing a common spirit of hard work and years of mutual understanding. This deepened cooperation will focus on the "Three Intelligences" (assisted driving, smart cockpit, and smart manufacturing) areas to further leverage their respective strengths, promote the intelligent and connected development of the automotive industry, help Guangxi's automotive industry cultivate new-quality productivity, and jointly build an open and prosperous smart car ecosystem to provide users with a safer, more convenient, and smarter travel experience.

The signing ceremony was attended by Zhou Yijie, Member of the Standing Committee and Secretary-General of the Guangxi Autonomous Region Party Committee; Tan Pichuan, Vice Chairman of the Guangxi Autonomous Region and Secretary of the Liuzhou Municipal Party Committee; Zhong Dezhi, Secretary-General of the Guangxi Autonomous Region Government; Lü Juncheng, General Manager of SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd.; Yao Zuoping, Party Secretary and Deputy General Manager of SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd.; Song Liuping, Supervisor and Chief Legal Officer of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.; Liang Tao, General Manager of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. in Guangxi; and representatives from the four leading departments of the Guangxi Autonomous Region Department of Industry and Information Technology and Liuzhou City, as well as relevant department heads.
