As the fourth quarter began, members of SAIC-GM-Wuling's overseas export vehicle quality inspection team worked tirelessly on the front lines, overcoming challenges to ensure high-quality vehicles shipped on schedule. Li Shuying, Overseas Chief Operating Officer and Director of Overseas Middle Office Operations, visited the inspection team and expressed her appreciation for the project's steady progress.
1. Tight Timeline, Heavy Tasks
This systematic quality inspection effort aims to further optimize vehicle performance and functionality, actively addressing the high standards of the overseas market for vehicle systems. The project involves two key export models, requiring comprehensive testing and optimization of multiple vehicle systems.
According to the plan, over 2,600 vehicles will be shipped for just one model, with some undergoing multiple rounds of testing and commissioning to ensure every vehicle meets factory standards. Faced with tight shipping deadlines and demanding, high-standard, and rigorous inspection tasks, the inspection team demonstrated exceptional technical prowess and a highly responsible professionalism, remaining on the front lines throughout the holidays to ensure quality and quantity were met.
2. Collaborative Efforts to Overcome Difficulties
To ensure progress, all departments worked closely together. The Technical Center provided testing standards and support, the Procurement Center ensured material supply, the Quality Department oversaw the entire process, and the Overseas Business Department coordinated testing and shipping arrangements. Once the order was issued, a dedicated export vehicle inspection team, urgently assembled from various departments, quickly commenced a 10-day intensive inspection mission. Working together efficiently, they ensured all inspections and adjustments were completed before the ship's departure date, fully guaranteeing vehicle quality and ensuring on-time shipment.
3. Caring and Empowering the Team
During the visit, Li Shuying, Overseas Chief Operating Officer and Director of Overseas Middle Office Operations, reviewed in detail the inspection progress, staff scheduling, equipment and logistics support. She commended the inspection team for their professionalism and dedication, and urged everyone to balance work and rest while working intensively. She also requested that relevant departments provide support, especially ensuring that specific issues such as overtime care and equipment coordination were fully implemented.
Currently, thanks to the collaborative efforts of the inspection team, all tasks are progressing steadily according to the established timelines. This decisive battle during the holidays is not only a vivid manifestation of the "Draw the Sword" spirit, but also a key action in the overseas business's "Fourth Quarter Sprint." With a high sense of responsibility and execution, all members went all out to ensure shipments, injecting strong momentum into achieving annual overseas targets and laying a more solid foundation for the company's continued expansion in the global market!
