Urban logistics and last-mile delivery services are increasingly turning to electric vehicles to reduce operating costs and meet emissions regulations. The Cargo Van from SAIC GM Wuling Automobile Co., Ltd. is designed specifically for these applications, offering a balance of payload capacity, driving range, and affordability. With a 41.86 kWh battery, up to 300 km of range, and a spacious cargo compartment, this electric van is positioned as a practical solution for businesses of all sizes. This article examines the vehicle's specifications, key features, and the factors that make it a competitive option in the growing commercial EV segment.

In its first month on the market, the Binguo S achieved an impressive sales record of 24,000 units, confirming the strong market demand for high‑quality A0‑class pure electric vehicles. At the same time, the model has earned industry recognition thanks to the robust safety performance of its “Shenlian Battery”. In November, at the 3rd New Energy Vehicle Electrical Safety Conference 2025, the Binguo S received two dual honors from CATARC: the “BSTA Full‑Scenario Verification for Power Battery Summer Wading Safety” and the “FSTA Vehicle EV Fire Safety Protection Star”. Earlier, the Binguo S had already secured two certificates: the CCTA Charging New National Standard Function Verification and the CCTA Charging System Safety Capability Verification.

In today's rapidly growing new energy vehicle industry, power battery safety has become the foremost concern for consumers. As SGMW's latest masterpiece, the Shenlian Battery not only safeguards public mobility with an industry‑record of zero thermal incidents over 76.6 billion kilometers, but also has taken the lead in fully passing all tests under the new national standard (GB 38031—2025 Safety requirements for traction batteries of electric vehicles) thanks to its hardcore technological prowess. With "ultimate safety," it has redefined the battery standard for A0‑class pure electric vehicles.

As SGMW's globalisation strategy advances further, overseas markets have set higher standards for product compliance and quality consistency. In response to key challenges including the need for improvement in ECE (Economic Commission for Europe) technical regulations, the need to enhance overseas witnessed testing efficiency, and the need to broaden global market compliance channels, the New Energy Laboratory and Verification Department, together with the Design Quality and Certification Department, mobilised their full teams to tackle these issues. At the end of April 2026, in collaboration with Guangzhou Hetong Certification Service Co., Ltd., they successfully established a European Certification Authorised Laboratory, laying a solid quality foundation for the company's global market expansion.

On the occasion of the Bingo S global debut in Liuzhou, the Product Marketing Center recently held a mobilization meeting with its TOP50 dealers, themed "Draw the Sword, Bingo Takes the Lead," to sprint towards 2025 sales. Currently, amidst increasingly fierce market competition, all company employees are working tirelessly to achieve their annual sales targets with a resolute determination.
