In August 2025, the Wuling Red Label, known as the "people's wealth-creating magic car," sold 46,387 units. Of these, 14,267 were new energy commercial vehicles, representing a year-on-year increase of 112%. This represents eight consecutive months of year-on-year growth exceeding 100%, pushing the Wuling Red Label's new energy vehicle sales share to a new record high of 31%, maintaining its leadership in the new energy commercial vehicle market.

As a global leader in new energy commercial vehicles, Wuling Red Label, in collaboration with the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC), conducted extreme summer testing in Turpan, Xinjiang. The results were excellent, filling a gap in the technical verification of new energy commercial vehicles in high-temperature scenarios. This unparalleled strength redefines the high-temperature reliability, safety, and efficient operation value of commercial new energy vehicles, leading the commercial vehicle industry's accelerated transformation to a "new" future.

The Wuling Yangguang family of ultra-large-space new energy commercial vehicles sold 4,975 units in August, maintaining its top position in the new energy light passenger vehicle market for 17 consecutive months since its launch in March 2024. During extreme summer testing, where surface temperatures reached over 75°C, the Wuling Yangguang, carrying a one-ton payload, successfully completed challenging tasks such as high-temperature hill climbing and high-temperature charging, achieving an 86.8% range achievement rate, fully demonstrating its reliability in high-temperature, high-load operating scenarios.

The Wuling Zhiguang EV 305km Progress Edition, a new-generation pure electric multi-purpose vehicle, launched in July. Its seven core upgrades, encompassing "range, safety, and comfort," quickly gained popularity with users, driving a 40.5% month-over-month increase in August sales of the Zhiguang EV family to 4,445 units, firmly securing first place in the new energy microvan market.

The Wuling Hongguang new energy vehicle family continued its strong sales, with 4,656 units sold in August. The Wuling Hongguang pure electric version, in particular, successfully completed the rigorous summer testing at the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC), including high-temperature hill climbing, water-related battery scraping, air conditioning thermal comfort, and high-temperature charging, achieving a 90% range achievement rate, comprehensively validating the quality of this new generation of "national legend vehicle."

Since its launch in 2010, the Wuling Hongguang has earned the reputation of a "national icon" for its ruggedness, durability, and ability to carry both people and cargo. It has consistently held the top spot in sales in its market segment for 14 consecutive years, becoming the preferred partner for millions of small and micro business owners. The "Hongguang Index," derived from the Wuling Hongguang's sales fluctuations, has consistently been shown to be highly positively correlated with the confidence and striving spirit of grassroots entrepreneurs and serves as a key indicator of the vitality of regional micro-enterprises.

The Wuling Hongguang family sold 10,084 units in August, a year-on-year increase of 37.8%. This marks eight consecutive months of double-digit year-on-year growth this year, driving the "Hongguang Index" to eight consecutive increases, highlighting the vitality and vigorous development of China's small and micro-enterprises.

Corroborating the steady growth of the "Hongguang Index," data released by the State Administration for Market Regulation in August showed that in the first half of this year, over 13 million new business entities were established nationwide, including over 8.6 million new individual businesses and nearly 30,000 new farmers' cooperatives. This demonstrates the confidence of urban and rural entrepreneurs in actively pursuing entrepreneurship and prosperity. The increasingly well-developed rural logistics system has driven continued burgeoning e-commerce entrepreneurship in rural areas. In the first seven months of this year, rural online retail sales increased by 6.4% year-on-year, demonstrating the continued prosperity of the rural consumer market. In the transportation industry, where Wuling Red Label users are concentrated, the production index saw a year-on-year increase of 5.5% in July, accelerating by 0.4 percentage points from the previous month.

Going forward, Wuling Red Label will continue to uphold its brand philosophy of "Wuling builds what the people need," firmly promoting the popularization of new energy technologies in commercial vehicles. With high-quality products that are affordable, accessible, and user-friendly, it aims to support small and micro-business owners in starting businesses, generating income, improving quality and efficiency, and injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of China's economy.
